Your information
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Dilkii handles when you use the Dilkii app or visit dilkii.com, why, who sees it, and what you can ask us to do. Dilkii is operated by Shreelink Solutions OPC Private Limited (“Dilkii”, “we”, “us”), which decides why and how your personal information is used. This policy is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules under them.
1. Information we collect
You give us
- Account: your mobile number, which we confirm with a one-time code; your nickname (the only name other members see); an avatar; and the language, region and interests you choose.
- Age check: a date of birth, which we use only to confirm you are 18 or older. We keep the year of birth and the time you confirmed, not the full date.
- Expert application: if you apply to be a listener, astrologer or consultant: your real name (never shown to other members), your experience, a profile photo, three verification photos, a voice introduction and, for astrologers and consultants, a certificate. These are checked by automated tools and may be reviewed by a person. Only our review team can see them.
- Payment details: an email address for your payment receipt, which our authorised payment gateway needs to process the payment. If you are an expert and ask for a payout, the UPI ID you enter.
- Messages and reports: the chat messages you send, and any report, block or appeal you make.
Created as you use Dilkii
- Calls: who a call was with, when it started and ended, its length, and the talk time used or received.
- Wallet and payment records: your talk-time balance, every addition and deduction, orders, payment status and authorised payment gateway transaction references.
- Presence: whether you are online and available.
- Device and connection: a device identifier, the notification and network details needed to deliver calls and messages, and connection logs (such as IP address) kept by our hosting provider for security.
- Safety records: reports made about you or by you, actions taken on accounts and the reasons.
Dilkii asks for microphone access for calls, camera access for video calls and expert verification, and permission to show notifications. You can change these in your phone’s settings. We do not collect your contacts, location, or the content of your other apps. Dilkii does not use advertising or analytics trackers.
2. Calls are not recorded
Audio and video in a call travel between you and the other person; Dilkii does not record or store them. If you report someone during a video call, the app attaches a still image of their video to your report so that our reviewers can see what you saw. If you report a chat, the reported messages are attached.
3. Why we use your information
- to create and secure your account and confirm you are an adult;
- to show profiles and availability, and to connect your chats and calls;
- to meter calls, keep your talk-time wallet correct, and pay experts;
- to take payments, confirm them with our authorised payment gateway, deliver your talk time and handle refunds;
- to check expert applications and keep the community safe, including reviewing reports and acting on them;
- to answer your questions and complaints;
- to prevent fraud and misuse, and to meet legal and tax obligations.
We rely on your consent, which you give when you sign up and when you allow a device permission, and on uses the law allows without consent, such as complying with legal obligations and responding to a request from a public authority. You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 7); some features then stop working.
4. Who sees your information
- Other Dilkii users: your display name, avatar, profile details, availability, and an expert’s voice introduction, as shown in the app. People you chat or call see what you send them.
- Our authorised payment gateway and your bank or UPI app: to process a payment. They handle your card, bank and UPI credentials. Dilkii never sees or stores your UPI PIN, card number or bank password.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: hosts Dilkii’s servers, databases and file storage and runs its security systems. It processes data on our behalf.
- Authorities and advisers: when the law requires it, to answer a lawful order, to protect a person’s safety, or to enforce our terms. We may also share information with professional advisers and in a merger or sale of the business, with the same protection.
We do not sell your personal information. Some providers handle data outside India; where that happens we use providers that apply appropriate safeguards.
5. How long we keep it
- Account and profile: while your account is open, and for a short period afterwards to close it properly.
- Payment, wallet, withdrawal and tax records: for as long as tax, accounting and payment-regulation rules require, even if you close your account.
- Expert verification photos: until the decision is final; we may then delete the photos and keep only the decision.
- Safety records and the audit trail of actions on accounts: as long as needed to handle appeals, prevent repeat abuse and meet legal duties.
- One-time codes: a few minutes.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove what identifies you.
6. Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls, separate storage for sensitive files, and a log of every action our team takes on an account. No service is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
7. Your rights and choices
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may:
- ask for a summary of the personal information we hold about you and how it is used;
- ask us to correct or complete it;
- ask us to erase it, and to close your account;
- withdraw your consent;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or cannot act for yourself;
- complain to us, and then to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied.
To use a right, write to our Grievance Officer (section 10) from the email address or phone number linked to your account, or message our support number. We may need to confirm it is you. We aim to reply within 30 days. Dilkii does not yet have a delete-account button in the app, so account closure is done by request. When we erase your information we may have to keep payment and safety records the law or a dispute requires.
8. Adults only
Dilkii is for people aged 18 or older. New accounts must confirm their age; anyone who enters an age under 18 is locked out, and a different date cannot then be tried. We do not knowingly keep information about children. If you think a child is using Dilkii, tell us and we will review the account.
9. Our website
dilkii.com is a static website. It does not set advertising cookies and does not run analytics. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security and reliability.
